Your new family tradition: Trout Derby! Brought to you by 85th Day, Stone Acres Farm, and the Yellow Farmhouse Education Center.

Kids will kick things off with a half-hour of fishing at the pond at Stone Acres Farm. After that, they’ll head up to the Farmstand to learn how to clean their catch and get it ready for cooking. Next, they’ll try their hand at dredging fish for frying, and crafting a delicious seasonal sauce. Then they’ll kick back and enjoy their hard earned catch!

• This is a FREE event

• Derby is open to children 12 and under, family can join to cheer them on!

• Children MUST have an adult to accompany them

• Registration required, Derby will be limited to the first 50 registrations received

• No equipment needed, everything will be provided to registrants courtesy of Stone Acres Farm

• Every registrant gets a free Trout Derby tee shirt and chance to catch a trout!

• Each registrant will learn to fish, clean a trout, fillet and cook, and enjoy their catch!

• After fishing enjoy lunch, snacks and drinks available for purchase
